Mysterious Giver That wonderful gift giver has returned once again to the boards...but this time he, er, um, she, had something different in mind! Normally Mysterious Giver gives out a prize of 100k to one deserving member who has been both active and kind. This time, Giver seemed to have a problem choosing! So he, or she, decided that no less than 5 members would receive a 1,000,000 np award...each! These members were pretty excited, and everyone was busy congratulating them, when the other boot dropped...It was an April Fools trick by Giver. However, as recompense for being good sports about the whole thing, he/she decided that rather than a million each, 100k each would more than make up for it. So congratulations to Mysterious Givers 5 winners of 100k, along with his, er, her, reasons for giving them! 1 - ejahn!
Surprise! - ELSAKOO - The SBGN News team wants to point out one of our wonderful members this week. The beautiful elsakoo was not always as active as you see her now. She was a shy newbie, and rarely made the boards. Nowadays, a smile comes to every members face when she comes on. With her awesome work on the Plushie Tycoon Guide, her ability to keep her chin up when her own game was erased by a Neopets glitch, not to mention her humor and helpful nature, this little chicken has bloomed into quite the rose! Evil Plots: Contagious? It was bad enough when we had to worry about the three evil plotters by themselves...but lately, it seems that evil plots are popping up faster than the weeds in my yard! Could it be that plotting evil has become a contagious disease? Are our wonderful members being snatched from the Halls of the Righteous by a nasty little germ spread by the Triune of Evil? Or is it just a passing fad? You decide... Our worst example of the Evil Disease was young elmochu, who has decided that rather than an unobtrusive plan, she would just run for President herself! Here is a sample of her short speech that she gave explaining her Presidential Plan. Of course, the speech was delivered to a hired crowd, but it was powerful nonetheless. "These are some tough times, and we all know hardships.

WE WILL EAT MUFFINS EVERYDAY!!! Not to be outdone, the Turkey had to get his speech in as well, though it was not quite as, well, clear... "*Takes his turn on the podium* Gobble! Vote for Trikey..." The Waddle Revolutionaries were pretty quiet this week, although Waddle did once again mention that he would forget his plans for an Icy Battle Duck. Funny that he still hasn't gotten one though. He must not be thought of as too dangerous. Good for us, bad for him. Our Evil coconut has also been rather quiet about her plans, though she did send her agent AJ (redsuperblast) on a mission to discover the source used by the SBGN to uncover their Evil Plots. His answer? Easy, "The plotters themselves..." Apparently, our secret is out. As an interesting twist, redsuperblast proposed an alliance between the three most evil factions. He feels that if they combine forces, and pool their talents, they would have a better chance at a takeover. Hmmmm....we will have to keep our eyes on this one. He may be more dangerous than was first supposed.

avatar since it came out without success...not anymore! On the 29th, Tri was
finally able to get it! Way to go, Tri! tam9960 - Told a joke to King Skarrl, and walked away with a score of 782 out of 1000, a Golden Stalk, 180 nps, and the "Blumaroo Court Jester" avatar! Nice joke, Tam! alternitive5 - All those votes paid off for Alt in her first week of the beauty contest! Her faboo picture earned 7th place out of all the Uni pictures, and 80th place out of 2500 pictures. Wow! Great picture Alt! Let's see if we can't beat that score this time around. abreev8- Has been working on his high scores for games this week, and has defeated a few! The Evil Fuzzles game, Extreme Potato Counter, and Pterattack are three games in which he blasted his high scores to smithereens. Congrads on this personal triumph Abreev! redshiba - Who wandered Neopia, and on his journey came across an Alien Aisha who gave him a Normal Golden Nerkmid. Nice find Red! nstarz - Worked hard, and pounded the pavement, until he got the job he wanted! NStarz got the job for $17 per hour as a Part Time City Carrier. Woohoo! Good for you NStarz. drew_trikey - Brought his test grades up in math from around 70/100 per test to 90/100 per test. BIG difference, and good work! Keep it up Trikey! midniteir - Took away a nice haul from the Dice-A-Roo jackpot on the 3rd. She walked away with a cool 28,000 nps. Way to roll those dice Midnite! ibwillow - Spun the Wheel of Exitement, and walked away with a very rare, and new to the market item. A Jazzmosis Speaker! We wish her luck in her sale of it, and hope she gets the 200 - 400k it appears to be going for. Well spun Willow! |

Freelancers GABE OFFLINE! It has been a long haul for little Gabe, ibwillow's young baby. He has been on oxygen during the day and at night since he was born. Just this week, the doctors have informed the family that he can now come off the oxygen during the day, and be reduced to almost none at all at night! They are hoping to do a sleep study on him to determine if he can be taken off it altogether! We want to spread the good news to all, and let this young family know that we are thrilled to hear such wonderful news! So, ibwillow and souehe, please give a BIG hug to Gabe from the SBGN team for this terrific milestone, and don't forget his beautiful sister as well! CHICKEN COUP?! The guild has many interesting creatures haunting its halls, and now we have added yet another! Taking her rightful place as the Guild Chicken, elsakoo, has accepted the thankless task of donning the feathers and growing a bright orange beak. A lively quote from the fearless fowl may explain a little better, "One day us chickens will strike back! and take back what is rightfully ours!!" You may now find her pecking her way through the boards, and fighting for equal rights for chickens. Oh, and you may not want to mention Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), it seems to send her into some kind of fit. We wish her luck in her new form, and hope no one gets hungry for a nice, warm, chicken dinner. Mmmmm...chicken. GUILD MASCOT ON TOP! Our guild mascot Stock_Slayer, is the IBA Division 4 champion! The IBA (Intergalactic Battle Archive) is a fan site which provides battledome info and runs the occasional tourney. It is a grueling battledome experience for those who participate, but well worth it for true battlers around Neopia. It is a great honor, and says quite a bit about Serena's training program, and the guild's members who have assisted with that training. A gracious quote from Serena_Mia included these words, "We couldn't have done it without your help and generous support. The members have given so much for his training, and everything else he needed, to do well in the tournament. Slayer is proud to bring home the title, a trophy, and 300 shiny dubloon coins to the wonderful members of SBG." Stock_Slayer then went on to win the 2nd division title as well, for another 300 dubloons! We are honored to have such a great battle mistress and tough mascot! Congratulations to the guild, and especially to Serena_Mia for working so hard to bring glory and honor to us all. Well done Serena! APRIL FOOLS FUN! The guild has had many memorable moments on April Fools Day, and this one was no exception. A mysterious person, with guild admin powers, decided to play with the rank names for several of our members. It began when someone noticed that Ejahn's rank had gone from President to "Queen of Mean"! Not knowing who might be responsible, the guessing game began! When it was over, Ejahn's rank had undergone many clue-like changes including, "Not Even Close" and "Getting Warmer". Ejahn wasn't the only victim of this silly practical joke! The exotic 3sska also got a new rank as well! "Die Ente" became 3sska's rank, and had to be changed by Ejahn. When all the guessing was done, and they had exhausted all possibilities, Falcon turned out to be the culprit! Tsk, tsk...naughty bird! THE PTY PARTY! Plushie Tycoon (PTY) has been all the rage these last few weeks, and it shows no signs of slowing down! With the promise of 100k, an avatar, AND a trophy, many members have joined the busy business of creating fake plushies for glory. Thanks to the wonderful guide created by Elsakoo on the Neodaq Forum, we have many congratulations to give out for a multitude of guild members. New Positions, We have many changes in the SBG to tell you about, and we
are really excited for these wonderful members! Be sure to wish them a
hearty congratulations, and keep the aspirin handy...as they will probably
be needing it. ;) First on the list is the lovely patriciafog2. For a full
list of Patricia's wonderful accomplishments that made her so perfect for
this position, you can see the neodaq thread with the info HERE.
She will now join lpcdobber, nyyankeesfan, and playingthrough as one of the
premier advice personnel for the guild. We are proud to welcome her, and
honored to have her with us. Congrads Patricia! Good luck with your new
position! Experienced Chance Shop Admin amanda_finch has decided to
retire her position and relax for a change. She has more than earned the
rest, and shall still be around to scare certain evil coconuts, in case you
were concerned. She has turned over the keys of the Chance Shop to two
wonderful members. The ever funny marching_glens and the beautiful ibwillow
have agreed to accept the keys to the shop, and shall be under the wings of
the Falcon for a short time. We know they will do a wonderful job in the
shop, and we wish them the best of luck! And yes, it has finally happened. The evil coconut has
furthered her plans by accepting a job assisting as Birthday Shop Admin
under the watchful eyes of
gypsy_heart and
goldengirl411. They have been informed of her dubious past, but are willing
to try to redeem our evil little pumpkynpuppy. All kidding aside, we know
pumpkynpuppy will do a wonderful job and will get the hang of it in no time.
Congratulations PKP! These four awesome members have worked
hard, and earned their positions through their continued activity, obvious
talents, and willingness to do their best for the guild. We are proud to add
them to the SBG team, and hope they enjoy their new jobs as much as we have
enjoyed their very presence. Good luck to you all! We would also like to take this time to wish Amanda the
best! She has worked so hard for so long in the Chance Shop, and we would
like to thank her for the fabulous job she did while she was there. Her
contests, and brilliant mind, have kept us in the nps and on an even keel.

Hostile Takeover? While we were all worrying about the small time plots our three nasty little creatures were throwing at us, a new evil slithered its wicked way into the Guild. The hottest subject this week had nothing at all to do with Waddle, Turkey, or the Evil Coconut PKP and their plotting. This week Plushie Tycoon has attacked with a ferocity that leaves this team nearly speechless! In this game, your job is to manage a company that buys materials, hires employees, fires employees, manufactures plushies, sells them, and then counts the profits...if you've done it right. We even have a wonderful GUIDE created by Elsakoo on the forums that many swear is the beginning, and end, of all guides. If you are a cutthroat, Trump-type of boss, you could walk away with a cool 100k at the end of the month. Possibly even a trophy! Sounds pretty simple, doesn't it? How could something like an innocent game be evil? Well, it started with just a few players trying something new. Even our President Ejahn gave it a whirl! Everyone who played last month did really well, and were very happy when their hard work paid off with a nice chunk of nps at the end of the month. That's when PTY made its move. Whereas most guild fads last for only a month, due to its one month play time, PTY has survived where hundreds of other addictions have failed. It is now in its second month as THE game to play for SBGers. The incredible ingenuity of our guild members, and their triumphs and disappointments, were viewed with anticipation by other members who did not participate in last months game. They waited impatiently for their chance, and when the month rolled over...so did they! PTY facts and figures flew through the guild faster than Waddle through an air duct! Materials, jewels, sales, times; a confusing array of items that spun so quickly we thought elladan1 was going to hurl! (He's probably doing it right now, knowing this story is here.) But PTY is here to stay. It keeps people from worrying about stocks, wars, or their toenails. Just be sure it doesn't keep you from doing the important stuff. Like showering. Here are the warning signs that you are being sucked into the PTY Corporate League of Evil. 1 - Your shop hasn't been restocked in 2 weeks, but you have sold 500
plushies in your PTY shop in one day. Is PTY staging a hostile takeover of our beloved guild? It certainly appears that way. What is worse, many of our members are enjoying every last minute of their descent into the nether-regions known as The Corporation. Briefcases and suits are now all the rage, where once it was polka-dotted bikinis and nail polish so red it rivaled my portfolio's color. We can only hope that everyone who has been trapped within this PTY party returns to the fold with more nps and a lesson in addiction learned. (Please note - The opinion expressed in this article is not necessarily the opinion of anyone. In fact, I don't think it makes any sense at all. Feel free to ignore it all you wish. I do believe it was created just for fun, and that the author wishes all of the PTY players the best of luck! The war has not only taken its toll on the players' neopoints, patience, and Healing Potions, but it has reached its nasty little fingers into our Codestone Shop and steadily depleted our Guild supplies as well. As any good strategist knows, without supply lines, the war can come to a screeching halt! So, we are searching for a few good "Rock Hunters" to help us renew our supplies. As always, donations are more than welcome! Donations are what makes a guild this size continue to be able to grow. We do want to be clear on one point though. Donations do NOT count towards a rank upgrade, so please just donate if you can afford it, and if you can keep this in mind. Kindness is a glorious thing. Incentive programs are also in the works from our wonderful Codestone Shop Admins to encourage those of you with faster connections to help shop for these mysterious stones. Keep your eyes on the shop if this sounds like a project you are interested in helping with. Rock Hunters...well, rock! Nice run of luck there Midnite! diberticulitis - Finally got that avatar she has been working so hard to get for so long! That's right, she won the 10k from the Wheel of Excitement and took away the avatar to boot on the 6th! All right Shar! Way to go! 3sska - Played Brucey B Slots faithfully until she finally hit for 43,900 nps! Nice win Tri! zuruebooo - Was able to complete Quest 35 for Illusen, and walked away with that Honey Potion for her trouble. Nicely done Zuru! graison - Won a Purple Coral Sculpture from the Wheel of Fortune on the 7th. Great spin Graison! emma2a - Hit the Fruit Machine for 2,500 nps and a Greeble! Well done Emma!

Freelancers FAMILY AFFAIR! We here at the SBGN are thrilled for one of our members this week. Young halitexy2 is getting something very special, and she has decided to share it with us! Hali is getting to meet her new half-sister this weekend, and is very happy to have someone who, "...isn't too chicken to ride in the front seat of a roller coaster" with her. We wish this terrific family meeting all the best, and hope Hali has some wonderful stories of her new half-sister to tell us when she gets back. W3NEO'S E-NO! It seems that w3neo is going "e"-less this week. For some reason (apparentl"e" a coff"e" spill from his younger halves), w3n"e"o's keyboard is unable to type that all important letter "e". We hope that this little snaffu doesn't keep him from us for too long, and that h"e" is able to return to his happ"e", normal self soon. RARITY RESOURSE! One of our newer members has taken on a rather ambitious endeavor, and is looking for help from anyone with information. It seems that sessendris is currently trying to compile a complete list of Neopian Books listed by rarity. She has all the names, etc., but is having difficulty trying to get the rarity levels to help others as well. She has a list of what she has gathered so far on her PETPAGE, if you would like to help. I am sure she would appreciate it. Please contact sessendris for more information. BAKING BISKITS! Ejahn, aka "The Queen of Mean", has definitely earned her title. She and one of the newly appointed Chance Shop Admins, (known to us as the corrupt Secretary), ibwillow have decided that Biskit needs his own nickname. To keep with the theme of "baked goods", they have decided that Biskit's new name will be "Bisquick". As Ejahn is the Queen, as well as President, we really should listen to her advice. Therefore, remember to call him by his new title. I am sure he will feel special knowing he has earned a new nickname approved by the Queen herself. |

In order to achieve this prestigious award with its awesome neopoint bonus, the receiver must be active and kind on the guild board. No one knows who Mysterious is, but this kind individual has always been generous to those who are wonderful to others. So who was the lucky recipient this time? DEADLY DUNGEONS, While Waddle tries to figure out what caused his revolution to stop revolving, the Evil Coconut has been hard at work with the continuation of her plans, and they include locking our beloved President in a horrible dungeon! To top it off, a highly respected and well loved leader has also thrown her hands in to try to take over. What are they up to now? On the Turkey front: Well, honestly, Trikey has been fairly well behaved lately. We aren't sure if he is currently plotting where we can't see him, but he has been pretty quiet as far as his sad attempt at gathering the dark forces of the guild together...thankfully. The Waddle Revolution: Waddle has been almost as quiet, although he did ask himself earlier this week what went wrong with his plans. Is he currently planning anything new? Well, he has been far more active in the ducts lately. Perhaps we can breathe a little easier for now. The Evil Coconut: Not only has pumpkynpuppy been actively plotting to take over the guild, but she has gone so far as to tell Ejahn directly that she plans on locking her away in a dark dungeon after her coup is successful! Don't be fooled by this act of bravery, though. It is rumored that the evil coconut discovered the President's weakness is cute little petpets in trouble, and that PKP may be using her gallery as something more...perhaps even a dungeon! She has certainly threatened to throw Ejahn in one enough times that it is not beyond the realm of possibilities. Could her gallery be a petpet dungeon in disguise? We will try to keep you updated. On a surprising note, 3sska has entered the plotting arena herself! (I know, don't faint!) Normally a sweet and shining example of what we should all strive to be, Tri turned to the dark side last night. Here is a direct quote from her that should show you what I mean, "How am I suppose to take over here right now, when you're watching?" and even more compelling, "Hello everyone, I came to take over..." Whatever shall we do with our wayward wanderer? Let us hope that once again good shall triumph over evil, and Tri will come back to us as the same sweet person we have always known.

Watch Your Typing! Many members may not be aware of a growing problem I have been noticing lately on the SBG Board. During my research for the news this week, I have seen many members, old and new, suddenly deciding it is ok to type nasty words, innuendos, and other more adult items on the board. This has got to stop. Words that skirt censors still offend others, and will not be tolerated by the guild council. We have members of all ages in this guild, with the youngest being around 11, so it is neither appropriate nor funny. As a parent myself, I don't appreciate it when others use more offensive words for "dung", or use more imaginative phrases that still make it clear exactly what curse word is being used. Enough is enough. If you can't keep your posts clean, then please lurk. If you are angry, frustrated, or just plain mad, try to use words that do not offend others. We have many imaginative people in this guild, I am sure we can all find other ways of getting our point across without offending anyone. Thank you. Wonderful luck Elsa! dudev_shark - Whose baseball team won 4-3 on the 17th! He was able to get a double, a walk, and a groundout in the game as well! Freelancers SOUHE IS SICK! Poor Souhe has been having a rough time this week. His lovely wife, a recently promoted shop Admin, ibwillow let us know on the 12th that he was in the hospital due to having passed a Kidney Stone and having a nasty infection as well. We are sad to hear that something like this has happened, and hope they will both be back, happy and healthy, soon. A big SBG hug to them! A HAPPY RETURN! One of our favorites has returned to us! The lovely gramdragon4 popped back onto the boards on the 12th to spread her special brand of caring and humor to all of us. Be sure if you see her that you say hello. You won't regret it! Welcome back Gram! NEW XLS ASAP! The maker of our wonderful XLS program that keeps our stocks in order has been hard at work again! This time around, w3neo stepped back and let dj_don see what he could do, and he wasn't disappointed. DJ has created a new program that will be able to log your sales in automatically, not to mention a few other changes, meant to make things much easier for everyone!
