| This mine produces a chart of Present Value of a stock vs Sell Point.
|
| Buy Range | Price range for stock to be considered buyable |
| Full Buy Period | Number of days a stock needs to be buyable for the
run to fully count. Shorter periods create a fractional run |
| Price Derating Factor | This factor adjusts the effrective buy period
by the price of the stock. If the lowest the stock was that day was 16, then the day only counts
as the this much of a day. At 17 as the factor squared. The more willing you are to pay
higher prices the closer to 1 this factor should be. |
| Min Runs | Minimum Number of full runs a stock needs to have at a given sell point to consider the results repeatable. This help eliminates the long tails at the end of some curvers if a stock has made a single, likely one time, very high run. |
| Min Sell | The lowest sell point to be displayed |
| Max Sell | The highest sell point to be displayed, if left blank will go to the highest point the stock has been recorded at |
| Ticker | This Stock to analyse. (All) produces a chart
of thumbnail for all of the stocks |
| TVM | Your time value of money as an annual rate. This is what rate of return you would expect
to make on your money as a percentage (100 = you expect to double your money every year, 11 = a typical Bank interest rate). Small values say you really don't care how long your investment take, you are just interested in stock returns. Higher values indicate that you have other uses for your money and prefer quicker returns |
| Start | Date to begin analysis from |
| End | Date to end analysis at |
| Period Length | length of period to use. If neither Start or End
is specified then period ends today, If both Start and End are specified, it is ignored |
Remember that we only have opening values for the stocks so the stock may have peaked or dipped
during the day affecting the results.
