| Note, in the peak listing, an entry preceeded by a > indicates
that that peak results may be incomplete due to being the begining or ending run.
The final run if not finished will be followed by a * |
| Born | Date stock was created on Neopets |
| Died | Date stock went bankrupt |
| Days | Number of days the stock has been in existance
during the specified period |
| Rating | A value computed to be a measure of how often
and how high a stock has peaked. This value is currently computed with the
steps.
- Start with the lower of the peak or the Max Sell point (to minimize the effect of
ultra high peaks where almost no one kept any to sell at that peak)
- Next subtract off the bottom end of the buy range
- Take the sum of these values
- Divide by the number of days the stock has been followed in this analysis
- Multiply by 100 (just to make the numbers more convinient)
This formula may be revised, comments especially appreciated for this
|
| Peak | The highest point the stock reached for a run |
| Peak Date | The Date the peak was hit on the run |
| Interval | The number of days between this peak and the
previous peek |
| Buy Days | The number of days the stock was in the specified
buy range between this run and the previous listed run |
| Buy Range | Price range for stock to be considered buyable |
| Full Buy Period | Number of days a stock needs to be buyable for the
run to fully count. Shorter periods create a fractional run |
| Price Derating Factor | This factor adjusts the effrective buy period
by the price of the stock. If the lowest the stock was that day was 16, then the day only counts
as the this much of a day. At 17 as the factor squared. The more willing you are to pay
higher prices the closer to 1 this factor should be. |
| Min Sell | The lowest point the stock must rise to for this to
be recorded as a run |
| Max Sell | The highest point the stock can rise and continue
to improve its Rating. Higher points are still included in the peak list |
| Start | Date to begin analysis from |
| End | Date to end analysis at |
| Period Length | length of period to use. If neither Start or End
is specified then period ends today, If both Start and End are specified, it is ignored |
