Born Died Days Rating
Peak Peak Date Interval Buy Days
Other Options: Include DeadSort:
Buy Range: - Full Buy Period: Price Derating Factor:
Min Sell: Max Sell: Peak Sort:
Start (Y-M-D) End (Y-M-D) Period Length
Note, in the peak listing, an entry preceeded by a > indicates that that peak results may be incomplete due to being the begining or ending run. The final run if not finished will be followed by a *
BornDate stock was created on Neopets
DiedDate stock went bankrupt
DaysNumber of days the stock has been in existance during the specified period
RatingA value computed to be a measure of how often and how high a stock has peaked. This value is currently computed with the steps.
  1. Start with the lower of the peak or the Max Sell point (to minimize the effect of ultra high peaks where almost no one kept any to sell at that peak)
  2. Next subtract off the bottom end of the buy range
  3. Take the sum of these values
  4. Divide by the number of days the stock has been followed in this analysis
  5. Multiply by 100 (just to make the numbers more convinient)
This formula may be revised, comments especially appreciated for this
PeakThe highest point the stock reached for a run
Peak DateThe Date the peak was hit on the run
IntervalThe number of days between this peak and the previous peek
Buy DaysThe number of days the stock was in the specified buy range between this run and the previous listed run
Buy RangePrice range for stock to be considered buyable
Full Buy PeriodNumber of days a stock needs to be buyable for the run to fully count. Shorter periods create a fractional run
Price Derating FactorThis factor adjusts the effrective buy period by the price of the stock. If the lowest the stock was that day was 16, then the day only counts as the this much of a day. At 17 as the factor squared. The more willing you are to pay higher prices the closer to 1 this factor should be.
Min SellThe lowest point the stock must rise to for this to be recorded as a run
Max SellThe highest point the stock can rise and continue to improve its Rating. Higher points are still included in the peak list
StartDate to begin analysis from
EndDate to end analysis at
Period Lengthlength of period to use. If neither Start or End is specified then period ends today, If both Start and End are specified, it is ignored
Remember that we only have opening values for the stocks so the stock may have peaked or dipped during the day affecting the results.
